Amherst High School Baseball is a program available to all students grades 9-12 with a goal of creating a positive memorable experience within our nation's favorite pastime. Our program is open to all varieties of player sizes and skill levels.

Our season begins every spring in mid-March and runs through the State Tournament in early June. We play between 20-26 regular season games followed by a single-elimination statewide playoff system.

In addition to our season schedule and playoff tournament, Amherst High School Baseball also holds two fund raisers each season.

The first is a Youth Camp, typically held on the Saturday before the start of our Spring Season (in mid-March) and is intended for all young athletes grades 1st through 8th, both boys and girls -- and not just from Amherst! Come learn more and develop skills in all facets of the game right from our Varsity Baseball Team and help support our program in the process.

Our second fundraiser is a 9-Pin Tap Bowling Event of which we are always on the look out for local businesses to help us in support and donation opportunities.

We hold winter open gyms twice per week starting January 1 and ending in mid-March, and we also have a number of ties to outside summer baseball organizations on the lookout for more players with interest in the game of baseball.
